Because everyone must have access to art, since its reopening Musée de Flandre has implemented an active accessibility policy. The museum received the Tourism and Handicap label for four disabilities, and in 2016, it received the “Heritage for All” award for the quality of its actions.
The building, a Historic Monument, is fully accessible to individuals with reduced mobility; several tactile scale-models of the works are installed in the rooms.
